Overview:
As a Marketing Technology Specialist at ViaCord, you will play a vital role in enhancing our marketing strategies and improving customer engagement to drive revenue growth. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, data analysis skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing to support our growth initiatives. You will oversee various marketing projects, including developing targeted email campaigns, managing a newsletter, using online reputation management tools and implementing marketing strategies for customer retention, while leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Health Cloud for optimal performance.

Essential Functions:

1. Campaign Management:

  • Design, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, effectively handling a large subscriber base to maximize outreach and drive revenue.
  • Create and manage effective email templates for various marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

 

2. Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of marketing campaign performance, utilizing data visualization tools to track KPIs.
  • Generate actionable insights from data to guide future marketing strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Continuously track and analyze marketing data to assess campaign effectiveness, making real-time adjustments to improve results.

 

3. Marketing Technology Administration:

  • Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud at an admin level, ensuring the system operates efficiently and effectively to support marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current with Salesforce updates and industry best practices to drive innovation at ViaCord.
  • Utilize Marketing Cloud Personalization to create customized experiences on the new website, increasing user engagement.

 

4. Content Creation and Newsletter Management:

  • Oversee the quarterly newsletter targeting doctors and OB-GYNs, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and valuable to recipients.
  • Conduct Market Research to stay informed about industry trends, ensuring the newsletter reflects relevant topics and insights.

 

5. Customer Journey Optimization:

  • Work alongside Marketing Manager to:
    • Implement and refine customer journeys tailored to different stages of the customer lifecycle.
    • Run testing and optimizations for email campaigns to maximize responsiveness and effectiveness.
    • Implement new customer journeys targeted towards customers in retention stage.

 

6. Online Reputation Management:

  • Manage and utilize online reputation management tools to monitor and respond to customer feedback, maintaining a positive brand presence.

 

7. Paid Media

  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to manage ad agency relations and coordinate paid media strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

 

8. Website Optimization and SEO:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and the website development team to conduct testing and optimize UI/UX, ensuring a seamless user experience for customers.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop and implement SEO strategies in partnership with an SEO agency to enhance website visibility and attract organic traffic.

 

Skills and Tools:

  • Technical Proficiency: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Health Cloud, HTML, and marketing automation tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Expertise in data analysis, A/B testing, customer segmentation, and performance metrics.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of Email Marketing, SEO and content optimization strategies.
  • Market Research Acumen: Ability to conduct market research and apply industry knowledge to enhance marketing initiatives and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present data-driven insights clearly.
  • Subscriber Management: Proficient in managing a large number of subscribers in customer journeys and email campaigns, ensuring targeted and personalized communication.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is generally required
  • Experience working with various marketing tools and software, such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, Graphic design tools (Canva), and social media management tools
  • 1-2 year marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with web design and coding languages, such as HTML and CSS, is also beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and good communication skills are essential
