As a member of Abnormal’s Accounts Payable and Procurement team, you will play a critical role in building the capability and standards of the procurement function. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing Abnormal Security’s agreements in a high volume, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with Procurement and Legal stakeholders as well as other key business units to shepherd agreements through the negotiation process from initiation to execution. This role is critical to ensuring alignment between vendor contracts and organizational goals, while streamlining workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

What you will do
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Own end-to-end management of procurement contracts, including drafting, redlining, negotiation, execution, and renewal.
  • Tool Optimization: Leverage tools like SpotDraft for contract automation and Coupa for procurement operations to improve contract visibility, compliance, and spend management.
  • Negotiation & Risk Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, manage risk, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders such as legal, finance, compliance, and business units to ensure contracts meet operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are adhered to and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure all contracts align with internal procurement policies, governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop KPIs and dashboards to track contract performance, renewals, and cost savings, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Training and Support: Train internal teams on contract management processes and tools, ensuring adoption and effective use of technology.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Commercial Legal team and Procurement team and other business units to review inbound agreements
  • Ability to evaluate non-standard requests and determine where they fit in an existing process and develop a vision to create a process for resolving such non-standard requests
  • Establish, maintain and support processes to ensure compliance with internal policies
