Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance. This role is critical in ensuring that all contractual agreements align with our organizational goals and legal requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Development: Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify contractual needs, develop contract templates, and create terms and conditions that align with Navigate360’s goals and legal requirements.
- Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with external parties, such as vendors, suppliers, and clients, to establish mutually agreeable terms and conditions while protecting Navigate360’s interests.
- Contract Review: Carefully review contract documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal regulations. Analyze contractual obligations, terms of payment, deliverables, and associated risks.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks and liabilities within contracts. Work with legal and compliance teams to minimize risks and include appropriate clauses to address them effectively.
- Contract Execution: Oversee the execution process, ensuring that all parties fulfill their obligations as outlined in the agreement.
- Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with all parties involved in contracts, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues that arise.
- Compliance and Legal Awareness: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, including those related to student privacy laws like FERPA.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the performance of contracts to ensure they meet organizational standards and objectives.
Qualifications
What Makes You a Good Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the SaaS or edtech industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Normal Working Hours and Conditions: Core business hours are generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern time. However, this position will require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations.
Physical Requirements: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting including verbally communicating, seeing and hearing to exchange information and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. Daily physical functions include standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds. The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
