Job description

Are you passionate about enabling strategic decisions with data insights and visualization? We’re looking for a BI Analyst in People Analytics to transform our employee data into actionable insights and support our data-driven approach to organizational development.

Hempel is on a journey to become an industry leading enterprise, and purpose of our P&C Analytics, Processes & Technology team is to enable a seamless employee experience, where processes, technology and data align to enable Hempel’s growth journey. We are right now looking for a BI Analyst to support us with transforming our employee data in Workday into the right insights, reports and dashboards in PowerBI.

Responsibilities

  • Data Processing: process large sets of employee data from Workday and other data platforms to ensure accurate and comprehensive data analysis
  • Data Analysis: Analyse employee data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can provide actionable insights for the organization.
  • Report Development: Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, and dashboards using BI tools
  • Performance Metrics: Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate organizational performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage to understand needs and present findings and insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports, ensuring that complex data is easily understood.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve people processes and systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaboration: Work closely with People & Culture CoEs, HRIS, Process excellence and Finance to integrate BI solutions and support organizational goals
  • On the forefront: Stay updated on new techniques and methodologies to ensure that our people analytics products are outstanding, automated and efficient

Qualifications and competencies

  • High academic education in relevant field
  • At least 3 years experience in HR analytics and experience with Workday HCM
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and experience with building data reports and dashboard visualizations
  • Strong knowledge with in MS Excel, PowerQuery, SQL
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • A solid focus on redefining customer requirements to excellent decision support tools.
  • Can do attitude and great team spirit
  • Strong communication skills in English
