The primary responsibility of the Franchise Account Manager is to grow the customer base and revenue sales of our portal products to franchise estate agents. They will take ownership of the associated sales targets and achieve this growth through proactive activity across the identified franchise groups.

The successful candidate is to develop long term business relationships with each franchisee of the defined franchise groups They will strive to maximise the value of the Zoopla portal to every prospect in order to win their business, and deliver regular and effective account management to every customer to ensure they make the most of their Zoopla membership at all terms, minimising churn, and identifying opportunities for growth through a multi-product portfolio.

Other duties include building relationships with the franchise head offices alongside the Franchise Sales Manager, and attending franchise conferences and events in person.

Requirements

Essential skills

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Consultative sales approach: you can understand client challenges and business goals and present tailored solutions that address their specific needs and demonstrate the value of Zoopla’s products.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed activity KPIs and sales targets, focusing on securing and growing revenue by effectively managing a portfolio of clients
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key client stakeholders, positioning Zoopla as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and sign new clients through proactive outreach, relationship building, and needs-based selling.
  • Retention & Renewals: Proactively engage with clients to maintain high satisfaction levels, lead contract renewals, and re-engage clients to prevent churn.
  • Product Expertise: Stay well-versed in Zoopla’s product suite, providing clients with tailored guidance and ensuring they are leveraging the full potential of our solutions
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Use data insights to track engagement and performance, maintaining accurate client records in Salesforce to inform decision-making.
  • Market Insight: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to position Zoopla as the leading choice for digital solutions in real estate.

  • Continuous Learner: Eagerness to stay current with product updates, industry trends, and market dynamics, sharing insights with the wider team.
  • Minimum intermediate IT skills, ideally with Google and Microsoft product suites

Desired skills

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in property or digital media sectors. Familiar with real estate or digital transformation
  • Proven Track Record: Experience in account management, customer success, or retention, preferably within a B2B environment.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage leads, track sales activity, and maintain client records.
  • Experience selling a diverse range of products and services, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet varied client needs.
