Job description

This is a remote position.

Role Overview


We're looking for a driven sales leader who has experience of building, and scaling high global sales teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in building both inbound and outbound sales motions in the cybersecurity/dev tools industry.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that includes inbound and outbound efforts, set quotas, and manage the sales team
  • Managing the sales pipeline for accurate forecasting and effective lead flow
  • Building an outbound sales motion from the ground up to generate new leads
  • Owning and increasing MQL conversion rates
  • Evaluate and implement sales tools to enhance efficiency of sales processes
  • Managing monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas of SDRs & AEs
  • Segregating MQLs in MOFU, TOFU and BOFU, and building strategy to convert each segment
  • Hiring SDRs, AEs and training them to build a high performing sales team
  • Monitoring and evaluating team performance against targets, providing coaching and feedback to improve effectiveness
  • Be hands-on, and own your personal quota too
  • Working closely with marketing, product and customer success teams to ensure world-class customer experience post sales
  • Travelling to meet high value potential customers and for events will be required


Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a sales development role in tech B2B SaaS product companies. Preferably cyber security companies
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role
  • Experience in selling SaaS products in the US & Europe is a must
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls & multichannel outbound sales)
  • Ability to do rigorous research on companies & prospects
  • Maintaining the CRM (Hubspot)
  • Ability to automate and create scalable processes from the ground up
  • Ability to communicate, present to, and influence executives and C-suite of organizations
  • Great articulation & ability to explain with brevity
  • Be the face of Astra and pitch the company and our products to the prospects
  • Excellent listening, negotiation & presentation skills
