Job Description: 

Merchant Audit Specialist

Constellation Payment Processing (CPP) is seeking an individual to join the Customer Support Team who is strong with observation, has strong communication skills, and adapts well to change. As a Merchant Audit Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and helping implement process improvements.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of process improvement initiatives. This position will report directly to the Risk and Operations Manager.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Conducts pre- and post- performance analysis that ultimately enhance and improve risk mitigation processes
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers
  • Assist operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as KPIs
  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
  • Maintain complaint and non-conformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
  • Investigate reports of quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Process Analysis: Evaluate current organizational processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or management
  • Regular and reliable attendance required
     

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Expresses a high level of energy, attention to detail, and professionalism
  • Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization/prioritization skills and the ability to develop and manage a departmental organizational system
  • Ability to solve problems using deductive reason skills in a timely manner
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including punctuation, spelling, grammar and writing technique
  • Basic skills including but not limited to addition, multiplication and division of whole numbers, decimals and fractions
  • Desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and able to make quality decisions
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of standard business practices

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED with two(2) years of process improvement, audit and/or operational business unit experience in the FinTech industry.
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
