Job description

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Assistant to join our team and support our efforts in capturing new opportunities.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Search for opportunities across platforms such as FBO, GovWin, NECO, Asia-NECO, Grants.gov, FedConnect, and SeaPort, leveraging Planate's unique geographic strengths.
  • Send captured opportunities for evaluation and assessment.
  • Post Planate’s name in databases, download necessary attachments when tasked, and provide updates and notifications related to projects and contracts.
  • Prepare GovWin summaries for team use.
  • Organize and maintain the Proposal Library to ensure easy access to essential materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the business development team.

 

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in business development or government contracting.
  • Excellent communication, people skills, organizational abilities, creativity, and adaptability.
  • Industry trend tracking and active listening.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, search engine research, and marketing software.
