HRIS Analyst (Workday)

JOB SUMMARY: 

Sky Zone is looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to contribute and learn. The ideal candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment; experience in configuring and supporting all aspects of Workday along with keen attention to detail timing. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, and ongoing maintenance and support of the Workday platform while working collaboratively with stakeholders. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 

  • At least five years of related experience required with at least three years in Workday required. 

  • Specifically, experience with customized reporting, time tracking, absence, and payroll is required. 

  • Experience with labor optimization is preferred. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals. 

  • Ability to keep information confidential.  

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 

  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules. 

  • Support the maintenance of the Workday platform as technical expert applying best practices. 

  • Perform Workday administrative functions which may include security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, and support for integrations. 

  • Work closely with functional area subject matter experts and other stakeholders as needed to test and implement efficient solutions. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. 

  • Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements. 

  • Model best practice components of customer service 

  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users. 

  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions. 

  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users. 

  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. 

  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff. 

  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects. 

  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements. 

  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology. 

  • Responsible for all reporting functions of the HR Operations team (HCM, accounting, payroll, talent acquisition, etc.) 

  • Create and support internal audit planning and execution amongst HR functions that include compliance, operations and more. 

  • Performs other duties as required. 

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • This position requires the ability to remain stationary at a desk for extended periods of time while working on a computer, with or without reasonable accommodation. 

 

 

Compensation range is $80-95k/yr based on qualifications and experience.  Full-time employees at Sky Zone enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matchingEligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
