Job Description

The Strategic Partnerships Leader will manage a team to drive high-level collaborations and partnerships with BioPharma customers, through a strong knowledge of the customer, the shift towards Biologics, and the Life Science Innovations Group (LSIG) product portfolio. This position will also manage cross-platform commercial operations for an LSIG assigned account globally through revenue growth and commercial execution.  This Leader will elevate LSIG’s position in the account by influencing C-suite and other essential decision makers and will have responsibility of owning the account strategy. Global experience and cultural sensitivity combined with outstanding internal and external networking and communication skills are a prerequisite.

You will be a part of the LSIG Commercial team and report to the Chief Customer Officer Life Sciences. This is a solutions-oriented role, requiring collaborative and innovative leadership to drive growth for the business. This is a remote role with preference for biopharma hubs in the United States – Northeast or Bay Area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Attract and develop a world-class team, with deep understanding of our products, the Life Sciences Industry, and our customers
  • Develop strategic plans, set direction, and accelerate change needed to impact results
  • Apply DBS to drive growth and increase customer experience accounts through VOC, funnel management, customer insights, visual management etc.

  • Have a strong pulse on the customer’s strategic initiatives future acquisitions, and develop key relationships
  • Articulate LSIG’s value proposition to BioPharma senior leaders seeking partners in the Biologics space
  • Build an Account Strategy in collaboration with various functions to define potential with account (immediate, midterm, and long term) for all product lines & services.
  • Orchestrate C-suite and senior leadership cross-organization governance meetings

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial leadership roles, directly leading people or driving results through mentorship.
  • 10+ years of sales experience at a Life Sciences company, minimum 5 years of experience with Advance Science Degree
  • 3+ years experience in partnerships and selling to senior-level leadership into Biopharma accounts.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 30-50% of the time (domestic and international)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Minimum 2 years with a Danaher Operating Company
  • Experience working in diverse global environments

The salary range for this role is $185,000 - $210,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
