Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Global Leader of Protection & Filtering Technical Marketing is in charge of driving design in / win for Production & Filtering Products across all regions. In this role, it is necessary to remotely coach and manage a team of Technical Marketing Managers (BMMs) for Protection & Filtering and Zener Diodes, which are spread across the Nexperia base regions in three continents.

The key tasks for the Technical Marketing Managers are:

  • Drive Design In/Design Win process
    • Maximize reference design in / win value for differentiated portfolio
    • Maximize customer design in / win value DI/DW value
    • Align and execute Marketing focus programs (revenue and design in/win) for differentiated Protection Portfolio
    • Maximize Innovative sales
    • Improve Product mix
  • Support operational plan and execution per region
    • Support the Business Fulfillment Team to generate Rolling Financial Forecast (RFF) business plans (customers/segments) with the regional account teams
    • Support regional account teams to execute revenue against RFF plans
  • Support innovation roadmaps in the regions
    • Support identification of portfolio gaps (new product opportunities)
    • Support business case inputs (volumes, prices in 10Y horizon, DI timing, customer requirement specifications) for new product opportunities
    • Closely connect to key roadmap drivers at customers and reference design partners and maximize their input to our product roadmaps

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage & coach the global TMM team to achieve their key KPI

  • Sales and Design-In value of business portfolio globally
  • Sales and Design-in value of Marketing Focus Portfolio globally
  • Rolling financial forecast revenue globally: execution to plan
  • Product Margin improvement globally
  • Innovative Sales globally
  • Regional market share

Establish and execute an efficient process between the Protection TMM, Product Management and Business Fulfilment teams to

  • Drive DI/DW process and close perceived gaps
  • Support business fulfillment team in their key responsibility to maximize the revenue and product margin for the qualified portfolio
  • Support the Product Management team in their key responsibility to identify, prioritize and close portfolio gaps

SKILLS /COMPETENCIES

Hard Skills:

  • Long term experience in B2B Marketing
  • Marketing tools and methodologies
  • In depth Semiconductor market knowledge (ideally Discretes Business)
  • Preferably semiconductor device physics and electrical engineering knowledge
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including EXCEL, PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership competencies to lead a global team of self organized BMMs across three continents
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English
  • Excellent analytical skills and structured work approach
  • Highly self-motivated and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation
  • Intercultural awareness and ability to work in international teams

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience as a marketeer or application engineer preferably in or with exposure to the semiconductor industry or consumer electronics end-equipment industry
  • Sales and Design-In value of business portfolio globally
  • Sales and Design-in value of business Marketing Focus Portfolio globally
  • Rolling financial forecast revenue: execution to plan globally
  • Business Product Margin improvement globally
  • Business Innovative Sales globally

Output (Deliverables):

  • Planning and execution of Marketing Focused Programs
  • Business analysis on dedicated market segment incl. design success stories
