We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a
Deltek ERP Implementation Senior Manager to join our
GovCon Advisory team.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm meaning most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
The Senior Manager will run the Deltek ERP line of business and will work closely with client management and leadership to provide timely, efficient systems support in the government contracting environment. You will have responsibility to execute a wide range of technical services on various ongoing special projects with our government contractor clients. The Senior Manager will support the growth of the Government Contract Advisory Practice, while working directly with senior leadership of the firm. Additionally, this individual will coach, mentor and develop the ERP team.
Client Relations And Engagement Management
- Maintain consistent contact with the client and the client’s staff
- Gain the confidence of the client, provide advice and counsel on all related matters
- Identify client needs for specialized services and market those services to the client
- Obtain thorough knowledge of the client’s business and industry
- Develop contact with various client personnel to strengthen the client relationship
- Resolve technical issues for clients
Technical Ability and Business Knowledge
- Deliver Deltek Costpoint services and maintain an enterprise-wide understanding of CohnReznick offerings to maximize client value delivery
- Implement Deltek Costpoint ERP systems & integrate with related interfaces
- Monitor and control engagement progress against budgeted time, scheduled completion dates and communicate any differences to Managing Principal in a timely manner
- Identify technical problems and recommend solutions to clients
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge and convey knowledge to staff
- Maintain current knowledge on the latest industry developments
- Achieve engagement profitability goal based on budgeted expectations
- Leverage resources to achieve maximum profitability
- Identify and manage risk factors
- Provide basic support for Costpoint, Deltek Time, and possibly Budget and Planning, and Cognos BI
Business Development
- Identify and communicate potential opportunities, and contribute to the discussion and generation of new business development ideas
- Support the Principal/Partner in the development of the business plan
- Apply new approaches to proposal development and effectively manage resources contributing to proposal initiatives
- Achieve annual business development goals and address areas for improvement
- Plan the technical approach and develop the budget for each engagement
- Work with the Principal/Partner to negotiate fees, billing, and collections
- Build and nurture an internal and external network and leverage effective relationships to sell services
- Have a good understanding of the prevailing business environment and the opportunities it may create for consulting opportunities
- Actively participate in recruiting initiatives
People Development and Teamwork
- Oversee team of 3 professionals
- Develop strong relationships with, and mentor, team members
- Assist, counsel and advise team members in resolving more complex matters
- Oversee team schedules to maintain standards for billable hours and staff utilization rates
- Provide guidance to team members regarding preparation of proposals, statements of work, and review work
- Provide regular and direct feedback regarding performance to promote staff morale and enthusiasm; counsel and advise staff in areas needing improvement
- Conduct effective and timely performance reviews
Personal and Professional Development
- Participate in a variety of organizations, associations, and memberships
- Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrate sound business judgment, effective project management skills, and strong interpersonal and leadership skills through interactions with clients, team and firm management
- Continually enhance technical skills and industry knowledge
- Demonstrate independent problem solving and analytical capabilities
- Improve skills in business development, communications, public speaking, writing and other areas, as needed
Your Experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- 8-10+ years of recent experience in the government contract industry; prior consulting experience is strongly desired
- Must have knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time and Expense
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational/communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer service and collaborative team environment
- Displays broad knowledge with strong leadership skills
- CPA license or PMP certification is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 25-35%
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to potential engagement requirements
