Job description

We are a growing, innovative organization specializing in subscription-based technology services. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to strengthen our financial operations. This is a key role in our journey, requiring a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced and communicative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage core accounting functions, including revenue recognition, consolidation, general ledger, AP/AR processes, accruals and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP (or similar frameworks).
- Leverage advanced NetSuite skills to optimize financial workflows and reporting, playing a key role in its successful implementation.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Provide comprehensive financial reports and insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally within subscription-based services, technology, or ARR/revenue-type businesses.
- Strong expertise in NetSuite, with a certification in NetSuite being a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of revenue recognition, consolidation, cost accounting and general accounting principles.
- Exposure to multiple financial processes and their interdependencies.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Experience working with international accounting standards and practices.
- Proven ability to work productively in a remote setting, aligning with Central European Time Zone.
