Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime

  • Configure and customize Jira workflows, schemes (permission, notification, issue type, screen, etc.), and dashboards

  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to Jira and Confluence

  • Conduct training sessions or create documentation for teams to effectively utilize Jira and related tools

  • Implement and manage automation tools (e.g., Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner) to reduce manual effort

  • Perform system upgrades, install plugins, and maintain overall health and performance of the Atlassian suite

  • Create advanced Jira reports using JQL and other tools to provide insights into team performance and project status

Requirements

  •  1–3 years of hands-on experience in administering Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence

  • Deep understanding of Jira workflows, permissions, custom fields, and notification schemes

  • Experience with Jira Query Language (JQL) for advanced searching and reporting

  • Knowledge of Marketplace add-ons (e.g., ScriptRunner, Tempo, BigPicture, etc.)

  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Automation for Jira, Groove Scripts)

  • Familiarity with REST APIs for customizing Jira functionality or connecting with other systems

  • Understanding of basic database queries (SQL)
