As our first Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll join a well-funded, fast-growing company with the unique opportunity to play a key role in scaling our talent acquisition efforts. The successful candidate will focus on coordination, sourcing, and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive hiring process. We’re looking for someone with at least one year of experience—whether from an agency or internal setting—who is organized, proactive, and passionate about creating meaningful connections.
This position is for candidates currently located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
What you’ll do:
Candidate Engagement: Build strong relationships with candidates to create a welcoming and positive hiring experience.
Scheduling and Coordination: Manage interview scheduling, logistics, and communications to ensure an efficient and seamless process.
Sourcing Talent: Partner with the recruiting team to support creative sourcing strategies and identify high-caliber talent for open roles.
Recruitment Support: Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements, craft job postings, and support candidate screening.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the efficiency of the recruitment process.
Candidate Advocacy: Act as a champion for candidates, ensuring clear communication and feedback throughout their hiring journey.
Metrics and Reporting: Monitor key recruiting metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making and enhance outcomes.
What we look for:
- Experience: At least 1 year of recruiting coordination experience, either in an agency or internal setting.
- Exceptional People Skills: Empathetic, patient, and confident with a natural ability to build rapport across diverse personalities.
- Communication Pro: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly and concisely.
- Highly Organized: Ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage workflows, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with ATS platforms like Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday; familiarity with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus.
- Self-Starter: Fast learner with a proactive mindset who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Bonus points for:
- Experience using Greenhouse ATS.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing.
- Prior experience working in a startup environment.
- Knowledge of advanced sourcing techniques or tools.
- Background in recruitment for niche or hard-to-fill roles.
