We enable customer support teams at brands like Dollar Shave Club, Minted and NomNom (Mars) to build automation across any digital channel helping brands to lower costs and enhance efficiency; improve the customer experience with instant, accurate and self-served resolutions; automate revenue and retention opportunities; and make data-driven decisions with AI-powered trends and insights.

Kodif is a well-funded startup, having raised $6.5M so far. Our pre-seed round was led by Village Global, which is backed by Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Reid Hoffman. The Seed round was led by Bling Capital, a prominent fund in Silicon Valley. 

We have a growing team of 20+ employees. Founders are repeat founders, former senior engineer from Uber, Stanford MBA, and ex-Plug & Play.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for our next Account Executive to join our founding GTM team. You love working autonomously and managing complex sales processes involving numerous internal and external stakeholders. You have a “get it done” mentality and can build your own pipeline from scratch. You are product-minded with an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited to communicate prospects’ needs back to the business. You are excited to sell “one quarter ahead” and work with engineers to validate unique Customer Support automation use cases.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new pipeline while exceeding quarterly new ARR targets

  • Manage a territory of E-commerce and Subscription brands

  • Educate prospects on AI in Customer Support use cases and run thorough discoveries

  • Work with cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering, Product and Implementation 

  • Manage a complex sales process that includes hyper-customized demos, sandbox proof of concept and ROI impact analysis

  • Establish close relationships with prospects and own first year expansion opportunities

  • Represent the company at in-person events and executive dinners relevant to your territory

Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience as an Account Executive

  • Experience navigating complex sales processes

  • Experience closing 100k+ deals

  • A hunter with experience building your own pipeline

  • Experience working at a Series B or earlier startup is a plus but not required

  • Experience working in Customer Support, Customer Service or Customer Experience industries is a plus but not required
