How to contribute to our vision 

We are looking for a self-driven student worker to support our small tactical Platform Support team of 5-10 people with a variety of tasks. We connect operations and technology areas with the help of data. We are providing a data driven and unbiased view on information on a platform level between operations and engineering departments. Being a Student Worker in Siemens Gamesa is an opportunity for you to develop your personal capabilities and build a professional and international network. You will get the chance to enhance your professional development and get relevant work experience in a global company.

Your responsibilities will consist of: 

  • You will acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems (executing SQL/Transact SQL queries to fetch data).

  • You will process data from MRP systems and relational database structures, research, analyze, consolidate and interpret.

  • You will operate and optimize pre-defined tools, applications, Power BI’s, and databases/data management systems.

  • You will assist with designing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines for data ingestion, processing and transformation as required.

  • You will assist with statistical and data analytics methods to create information on business-relevant topics.

  • You will offer support in the continuous improvement and the documentation of systems and processes.

  • You will learn and acquire respective theory and know how, techniques, methods, tools and processes

What you need to make a difference 

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for someone who is currently enrolled at a university in Denmark having passed at least 2 semesters of bachelor's studies or doing master's studies within the area of Data Science, Statistics, Economics or IT Systems.

To be successful in this role, you need/are: 

  • A result-oriented, structured and a dedicated team player with strong analytical skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and develop with professional approach to tasks and communication.

  • Willingness to take ownership and are driven by curiosity.

  • Familiarity and experience with Power Platform technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), Office tools (e.g. Power Point, Excel, Outlook) and database design (e.g.. SQL, SQL queries, SQL Analysis server, SQL Server Integration Services) is an advantage. 

  • Very good English skills, both written & spoken.

We expect you to come to the office in Brande 1 day a week. The rest of the time you can work from home. You would be working part time. Start date is as soon as possible.
