Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Work Location: Mysore/Bangalore/Remote
Job Synopsis:
Unilog is looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM), responsible for managing a portfolio of agile projects to deliver B2B Commerce solutions for Unilog’ s customers. The TPM will be required to manage the full lifecycle of projects from requirements to design to development to production go-live and post production support via a cross-functional, highly skilled team. The TPM will be adept at delivering projects, both working at a strategic level and rolling up his/her sleeves to get things done whenever needed.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
Experience: 10–14 Years
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Customers in developing project plans to deliver on-time custom features and functionality.
- Work with functional leaders to understand current team capacity for projects to provide reliable estimates to Customers.
- Leverage good project management skills to assign tasks to project team members and provide regular check-ins to ensure timelines are met.
- Use strong networking skills to build relationships with other managers throughout the organization to ensure your project teams are providing the highest quality deliverables. Follow us on Visit us @: www.unilogcorp.com
- Partner your project team with QA to provide feature sign-off and understanding for all developed features.
- Be aggressive in getting customers to meet their commitments and timelines to ensure projects stay on track for on-time completion.
- Act as a liaison for your projects between all stakeholders and project team members.
- Strive to be a product expert and be able to consult with customers about the capabilities of the product.
- Ensure all projects follow software development best practices and documentation, ensure coded features meet design requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Ensure custom features are developed and tested with low defect leakage.
- Ensure timely and accurate time reporting is done by all project team members, approve and report on each project to provide transparency
- Prepare project plans for your projects, complete with timelines and milestones for all deliverables to provide transparency to the organization and customers.
- Manage time off of project team members and use this information for day-to-day task assignments to meet committed estimates and timelines.
- Work with functional leaders to manage any day-to-day personnel issues for all of your project team members.
- Understand the value your team provides to the organization and ensure a “customer first” attitude to make your team stand out in a positive way.
- Measure your success simply by the success of your projects and be a cheerleader for your project team’s accomplishments by communicating them to the organization.
- Be an advocate of change, and ensure your project teams have the tools to do their job successfully: software, hardware, direction, clear priorities, and a clear understanding of the overall project.
- Be an advocate for the customers and be a voice for them throughout the project lifecycle to ensure a positive outcome with the customer.
