About the role:

In the role of Regional Sales Manager (RSM),  you will be accountable for achieving profitable business outcomes by effectively implementing the Business strategy. Additionally, you will drive profitable sales by efficiently utilizing resources and CRM tools to meet the set targets. The RSM sets a positive example both internally and externally, showcasing dedication to ConvaTec's missions, values, and business priorities.

The RSM will also cultivate a culture of high-performance teams through strong leadership and communication with the Territory Managers in the region.

The ideal candidate should be located in Lombardia.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop strong working relationships with both external and internal customers, leveraging internal relationships to establish regional strategies and build support to achieve goals.
  • Determine how the region's tactical plans, goals, and objectives contribute to the business unit's results and supervise their execution.
  • Proactively identifies key issues and delivers efficient responses to business development opportunities.
  • Manage the regional budget, ensuring that the allocation of resources is optimized.
  • Master the usage of CRM tools to guide the Territory Manager's performance, monitor results and improve the effectiveness of sales force.
  • Drive organizational change and hold Territory Managers accountable for performance.
  • Create high performing sales team by hiring, training, and retaining high quality Territory Managers. Prepare others to assume new increased responsibilities in the future.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to improve work performance and develop skills and abilities where the ability in using CRM is key.
  • Implement clear performance standards for Territory Managers against which to measure progress.
  • Working directly with customers, opinion leaders, technical experts, and professional staff as well as broad exposure to the healthcare industry and its competitors.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business or related experience is required.
  • Experience in commercial position of pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Sales Training, Tender management, Marketing and Market Access.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems and data gathered from a variety of sources to take effective decision and deliver superior business solutions.
  • Ability to work with a range of diverse people, influencing them to get things done within tight deadlines is required.
  • Firsthand experience working directly with customers, opinion leaders, technical experts and professional staff as well as broad exposure to the healthcare industry and its competitors is preferred.

Working Conditions

Field based role: Piemonte, Val d’Aosta, Liguria, Lombardia, Veneto, Trentino e Friuli.

The ideal candidate should be located in Lombardia

Travel Requirements

Travel within National field and to national offices.

Estimate 75% time travelling

Language Skills

Italian: Fluent

English: Speaking, Writing and Reading (business level)
