About the role
We are seeking a part time ASL Interpreter to provide live interpretation for our online training programs, held via Zoom. The role will be approximately 10 hours per week, with additional opportunities and programs available on an ongoing basis, based on performance.
Our programs are technical in nature (ie cybersecurity, data analytics, computer support) and class runs between 2 - 2 1/2 hours.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- At least 2 years of ASL interpreting experience within educational or professional settings
- Current National Interpreter Certification (NIC) or Certified Deaf Interpreter Certification (CDI) or equivalent preferred
Program Schedule
We are currently hiring for (2) programs. You can be available for just one, or both. Programs start in January, but the start date could move to February, if preferred:
- Program One: live lectures 1/16 - 7/3/2025 on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 3:30-6pm ET
- Program Two: live lectures 1/20 - 7/10/2025 on Monday and Thursdays from 12-2pm ET
Note: Additional services may be needed ad hoc for office hours mtgs

Where you are
- This role is remote and can be located anywhere that is compatible with the EST time zone.
Compensation
- The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. For US based candidates, the hourly range is $20-30.00 USD.
