AEM Architect

We are seeking a talented AEM Architect to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of mission-critical systems while collaborating with clients to deliver high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the development of high-availability systems.
• Engage in client meetings, tailoring communications to fit diverse audiences.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements effectively.
• Contribute throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews.
• Create architecture and technical specifications documents.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code as needed.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by exploring alternative technologies.
• Mentor senior engineers and share technical knowledge across the engineering practice.
  
  
  

Skills

• 7+ years of professional hands-on AEM development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in AEM technical and team leadership.
• Proficiency with AEM, Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, Mulesoft, Commerce).
• Solid understanding of systems design, high availability, disaster recovery, caching, CDN, and persistence.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably SCRUM, and unit testing.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• BS/MS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-education.
• Experience architecting and launching sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5.
