We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our mobile development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the back-end systems that power our mobile applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers, database teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with our business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable back-end systems using Ruby on Rails.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with mobile applications built in React Native.
  • Collaborate with database teams to design efficient schemas using PostgreSQL.
  • Ensure the back-end systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs into the application architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server-side issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent user experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging back-end development trends and technologies.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in back-end development with Ruby on Rails.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of database design and management with PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Node.js for back-end or API development.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with additional frameworks or technologies such as MongoDB or Python.
  • Familiarity with mobile development frameworks, particularly React Native.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
