The Chief Product Officer (CPO) will serve as the visionary leader of JAGGAER’s product strategy and roadmap. As a key member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, the CPO will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer needs, and market trends. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of Source-to-Pay technologies with strong leadership skills to drive innovation and deliver exceptional customer value.

Principal Responsibilities:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Strategy and Vision
    • Define and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with JAGGAER’s business objectives and market opportunities.
    • Develop and execute a long-term product strategy, focusing on innovation, scalability, and customer-centric solutions.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to ensure JAGGAER remains a market leader.
  • Product Roadmap and Development
    • Lead the creation and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to bring products from concept to market.
    • Prioritize product initiatives based on customer needs, ROI, and alignment with company goals.
  • Leadership and Team Development
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the product organization.
    • Serve as an advocate for the product team across the organization.
  • Customer and Market Focus
    • Partner with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the voice of the customer is reflected in product decisions.
    • Drive customer adoption and satisfaction through user-centered design and seamless product experiences.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing to craft go-to-market strategies and ensure product-market fit.
  • Metrics and Performance
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
    • Continuously assess and optimize the product portfolio to maximize revenue growth and profitability.

 

Position Requirements:

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • 15+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP or CPO level), preferably within a SaaS company.
  • Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay, Procurement, or Supply Chain solutions; experience in enterprise B2B software is highly preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing product teams.
  • Ability to balance visionary thinking with pragmatic execution.
  • Familiarity with modern SaaS architectures, APIs, and integrations.
  • Strong empathy for customers and a commitment to delivering exceptional value.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business outcomes through innovative product strategies.
