Tasks

About the Job: We are seeking a highly passionate Chief Product Owner to join our company. In this role, you will be helping adopt a product mindset, supporting the product strategy, and managing the product backlog for our software solutions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of software development processes, and a drive to build a deep domain understanding.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Managing Director
• Evangelize a product mindset, publish and maintain roadmaps and ensure communication and alignment across the company
• Support the product/software development life cycle starting from gathering requirements to production release
• Work with stakeholders to ensure product releases are delivered on time and meet business goals
• Define and prioritize the product backlog based on client needs, market trends, and business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Conduct market research and gather feedback from clients to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing features
• Continuously monitor and analyze product performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Serve as the subject matter expert on the product and provide guidance and support to internal teams and external clients
  
  

Requirements

Desired experience and qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Owner or in a similar role in a software development company
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of financial regulatory compliance and/or the insurance and asset management industries is a plus
