Job Description

The Compliance & Conduct Implementation Senior Manager is responsible for delivering and managing large-scale compliance-driven initiatives, including new law triage and project management, privacy, regulatory compliance, and ethics areas. This role also leads some shared department operations functions including strategic technology enablement. Additionally, this role is responsible for assessment and implementation of processes and risks to ensure all appropriate compliance controls and regulations are followed. This person translates business objectives and strategies, technologies into program operations and has a strong knowledge of key program elements for ethics, compliance, and privacy programs. In this role, the person directs and/or partners with other enterprise subject matter experts including business areas, risk, technology, cybersecurity and law and regulation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the strategy and execution of combined ethics, compliance, and privacy risk management program, providing business advice complex matters that contribute to overall operations for the enterprise.

 •Establish and execute on operational objectives for legal and regulatory support for large-scale compliance-driven implementation projects (e.g. mergers and acquisitions, State Privacy Law implementation, privacy statement compliance, etc.)

• Ensures ethics, compliance, and privacy through in-depth knowledge of professional standards and trends along with a strong understanding of core business processes

• Sets the direction, and provides coaching, performance feedback, and final review/approval for the work of team members within and outside of the compliance team.

• Collaborate and lead others in key business/functional areas to advance cross-functional projects requiring buy-in from many areas of responsibility

• Recommend and implement changes to team and department methods and strategies based on in-depth knowledge of functional area goals, including creating synergies across the compliance teams, and removing barriers to change to support innovative solutions

• Prepares and delivers metrics-based insights on program performance to executive leaders

• Lead enterprise compliance processes, including new law triage

• Analyze new federal/state regulatory laws and regulations, guidelines and standards to determine impact to business processes and communicate changes

• Maintain effective training for employees, senior leaders and relevant parties to ensure understanding of applicable laws and regulations

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 10 or more years of experience (Preferred)

• This job has supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $112,000.00 - 196,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
