We’re looking for someone who’ll be responsible for supporting and advising our UK Product Management function and Department Heads on compliance requirements and related controls within the First Line of Defence. Be warned, this is a very hands-on role, but we know you can do it 💪

What you’ll be doing
Working alongside Global Product Teams to ensure that UK products and communications are engineered to be compatible with the UK regulatory framework
Ensuring that the UK business communication and FinProms suite delivers good customer outcomes, across all parts of the full product lifecycle
Being the lead-individual (1LoD) to ensure that new campaigns, finproms, and customer communications are consistent with regulatory requirements, and the needs of our chosen target markets
Ensuring that communications consider, and are adapted where necessary, for UK Vulnerable Customer populations and their varying needs
Leading the agenda for Consumer Understanding aspect of the Consumer Duty, holding yourself and others accountable for meeting the various requirements of the duty
Providing UK Financial Promotion and Comms compliance domain expertise from within the 1LoD
Providing solutions to compliance problem statements
Acting as effective stakeholder between 1LoD and 2LoD Compliance
What you'll need
A track record of outstanding achievement in Financial Services Communications or Financial Promotions - preferably in compliance roles
A STEM or another highly quantitative degree
Previous experience in UK Retail Financial services organisations - whether in traditional banking, or fintechs
