Job description

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Regional Customs Compliance Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.


Location: Remote, covering midlands to North region


WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

  • Supporting agreed strategic deployments at regional & site level for our DSC UKI Customs & Excise services
  • To assist and ensure new business or business renewals with Customs & Excise activity is right first time every time
  • Successful deployment of the DSC Customs Compliance manual, in addition to regular monitoring and governance of the outlined compliance requirements contained within
  • Provide support and guidance to Customers, Operational teams and SME's with Customs & Excise regulatory compliance
  • To grow the UKI Customs function through learning and support at all levels
  • Responsibility in ensuring Audit action completion working with the Bond managers and key stakeholder, dependant on service level in place.
