JOB SUMMARY: 


As the Junior Sales Account Manager - Target, you will support the sales director in driving the sales strategy to achieve sales goals. In addition, this role will play a key part in managing the Target.com business.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Retailer Relationship Management: Assist in the day-to-day management of retailer accounts, ensuring their needs are met and that they receive exceptional service.
  • Sales Support: Work alongside the national Account Director managing all aspects of planning, merchandising and co-op management.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on retailer performance, sales data, and other key metrics. Assist with preparing regular status updates and progress reports.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure smooth execution of retailer projects and campaigns.
  • Target.com: The person in this role will play a key part in managing and driving the Target.com business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements


EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE REQUIREMENTS:



Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role is preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with retailers and internal teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing tasks. This role will include data entry into both internal and external systems and/or portals.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and ecommerce business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Target Vendor Portal preferred.

Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,000 - $85,000 per year.

Confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
