Event Project Manager

Channel Impact is hiring a Event Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our client’s events organization to provide technical project management for the content and audience engagement teams supporting large global flagship events using your experience in RainFocus or CVENT.

This role is a full time, benefited opportunity for a remote worker in the United States.

What you will be doing:

Event Content support:

• Manage global Content PDF Process - upload, QA and support distribution of personalized materials
• Manage web reporting for Event Platform
• Project manager of the client’s AI Assistant, working with global content team to optimize recommendations and with IT to meet deadlines.
• Product owner of the AI assistant – design and wireframes of tool, devise and manage QA plan & testing plan. Manage APIs and test data.
• Manage and test RSVP tool, used to track invite-only events and auxiliary meetings
• QA and Test Plan Lead – Event Catalog, Event Scheduler, On-Demand Library, website, Attendee Dashboard, RSVP tool, AI Assistant and others.

Event Team support:

• Manage, test and support Attendee Dashboard, used by event attendees to track individual registration, hotel bookings, meetings, invitations, etc.
• Technical Eloqua Email Manager – supporting submission of all Eloqua emails for customer & partners including testing and distribution
• Global Reporting and Analysis
• Adobe Analytics Lead for platform
• Provide back-up: support issues, support documentation, website edits etc.
• Manage Certificate of Completion process for event attendees

What you will bring:

• 10+ years project management experience in the tech industry (PMP Certification a big plus)
• Proven experience with project management tools: Trello, Jira, Sharepoint, MS Project
• Proven experience with reporting tools: Adobe Analytics, Mongo db
• Proven experience with content management systems
• Proven experience with event platforms and project management
• Experience using Rainfocus and / or CVENT supporting tech industry events
• Comfortable working at many different levels within organizations
• Ability to build strong business/cross functional partnerships including being seen as a trusted advisor
• Outstanding communications skills, including written, verbal, and presentation
• Strong analytical skills, complex problem-solving skills, and business acumen
• BA/BS in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
