How you'll add value

The Senior Product Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring Paycor 's compliance for our payroll, tax filing, HR, and time and attendance product solutions by mobilizing and executing complex projects such as product enhancements, filing requirements, training resources, etc. The Senior Product Compliance Analyst drives strategic compliance initiatives with a focus on cost, risk reduction, and increased revenue. This position takes a leadership role in partnering with Product and business stakeholders to ensure required changes for these product solutions are completed and implemented timely and accurately to meet critical deadlines. The Senior Product Compliance Analyst develops and maintains relationships with federal, state, and local governing bodies. Additionally, this position serves as are source, as well as a SME, regarding all matters of compliance, including prioritization, follow-up during development and QA, and subsequent testing.

Duties and Cor Responsibilities

  • Identify, through research and existing knowledge, areas of compliance needs within Paycor’s product and services offerings, including payroll, time and attendance, and HR applications.
  • Assign compliance items to lower-level Analysts; for assigned items, identify appropriate sources of information needed to ensure compliance obligations are met, including statutes, regulations, regulatory authority websites, industry associations, and third-party resources (e.g. BNA), and obtain the necessary information.
  • Coordinate with Tax department to schedule agency visits including: initial contact, itinerary and logistics, content and format, etc.
  • Lead the Compliance partnership with Client Services and Product & IT departments to ensure compliance requirements are met through process or technology, including any necessary augmentation of the Global system or its successor systems.
  • Formulate, design and implement policies and procedures to exceed standards of internal and external clients, including those policies and procedures related to compliance item identification, research, and implementation. *
  • Model desired actions and performance that includes high client service standards, teamwork, professional behavior and taking the initiative to suggest and implement improvements.
  • With other Compliance department personnel, identify, recommend and implement process and procedural improvements.
  • Establish and document appropriate information gathering procedures and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Federal, State, Workers Compensation, and Local tax law changes as well as state and federal minimum wage changes.
  • Educate stakeholders on recent and pending system updates and compliance, tax, and regulatory changes.
  • Represent Paycor in matters regarding National Payroll Reporting Consortium (NPRC), RAF, and other compliance related conferences and associations.
  • As assigned, populate the Global database using appropriate compliance-related parameters; maintain the database including testing and troubleshooting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' compliance or regulatory experience.
  • Certified Payroll Professional certification and/or payroll industry involvement a strong plus
  • Flexible and able to adapt to short turnaround times and changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills with ability to interact with others at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel.
  • Experience with Adobe to create and maintain PDF forms extremely helpful.

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. In addition to base pay $64,680-110,424, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on the position.
