TEAM & ROLE
We’re looking for a talented
Events Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our tradeshow and event strategy. In this dynamic and high-impact role, you will have the opportunity to craft and execute innovative events that fuel demand generation, support GTM goals, and enhance Benepass’s brand presence.
As the driving force behind our events, you’ll collaborate across teams to create experiences that resonate with key audiences, delivering measurable results. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to take ownership of every detail—from strategic planning to on-site execution and post-event analysis.
You’ll Be Empowered To
- Develop and implement an overarching event strategy, selecting the most impactful industry tradeshows and conferences.
- Partner with demand gen, sales, and product teams to define event objectives, messaging, and deliverables.
- Design unforgettable experiences, managing everything from speaking opportunities to booth design and vendor relationships
- Track success metrics, refine strategies, and consistently raise the bar for event excellence.
ROLE LOCATION & TRAVEL
This role is remote and requires up to 35% travel with occasional weekend commitments. Primarily responsible for travel to industry conferences. You will also be expected to attend company-wide on-site events three times per year.

- Strategic thinker who loves diving into the details, from booth design to post-event follow-up.
- A data-driven decision-maker who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Collaborative partner with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Requirements
You bring a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience to the role, including:
- 5+ years of marketing experience managing multi-faceted events and trade shows, preferably to HR/Benefits audiences.
- Proven ability to manage complex event calendars and budgets while driving results.
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships across diverse services.
- Have managed large budgets and kept costs contained.
- A track record of using data and metrics to assess and refine marketing strategies.
Bonus Skills
- Creative flair for designing engaging event experiences that stand out.
- Expertise with event-specific project management tools or platforms.
- Knowledge of industry trends to identify innovative opportunities.
- Experience supporting global event strategies with a local market focus.

INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Initial Screening (45 minutes)
- Meet with the Head of Growth to discuss your background, experience, and alignment with the role.
- Second Round (45 minutes)
- Conversation with the Head of Strategic Alliances to explore collaboration strategies and event integration with key partners.
- Third Round (45 minutes)
- Discussion with the Head of Sales to evaluate alignment with sales objectives, event-driven pipeline goals, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Final Presentation (30 minutes)
- Deliver a presentation to the hiring manager, Head of Partnerships, and Head of Sales.
- Objective: Share an event strategy session proposal for a hypothetical or real industry tradeshow.
- Key Focus: Event goals, audience engagement tactics, cross-team collaboration, and measurement of success.
Compensation
- $120,000-$150,000 USD
- Equity
Range(s) is subject to change. Benepass takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including market comparables, interview performance, peer compensation, and years of experience.
