Discover Impactful Work:

Manage sales territories to sell Invitrogen biotech products. Understand and communicate customer requirements. Grow new clients as well as manage and retain the current customer base.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement sales strategies in coordination with Sales Manager. Develop sales strategies to increase market share.
  • Plan, organize and manage a sales territory and balance the requirements of multiple business units. Identify and target new business/sales opportunities within the marketplace. Manage the sales cycle.
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate sales contracts with customers/dealers .Educate customers/dealers on new products and product enhancements.
  • Understand and communicate customer issues, current prospects and marketing events to sales management. Accurately articulate and present product features and benefits.
  • Interpret and manage key financial result areas, i.e. revenues, volume, margins, days outstanding and forecasting.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Degree in Bioscience is a must.

Experience

  • 2 years selling experience in biotech
  • Molecular biology experience is preferable.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Good English communications in both oral and written.
  • Result-oriented, hands-on
  • Capability in handling both customers and dealers.
