Job description

SASMAR is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. With operations in Brussels, Sydney, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Malta, London, and Chicago, we are a reputable pharmaceutical company that specialises in personal care and fertility products, including our renowned Conceive Plus brand. Our products are distributed in over 70 countries through various channels such as supermarkets, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and drugstores.

As an Account Manager at SASMAR, you will be responsible for managing and growing our business relationships with wholesale trade and distributor accounts, mainly within Europe. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers and contribute to the growth of our brand.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and build strong relationships with existing trade customers.
  • Understand client needs and requirements, and provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow revenue from existing accounts.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and acquire new clients in the Dutch-speaking markets.
  • Present and promote SASMAR's products and services to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful order fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and one other European language is required.
  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to understand and meet client needs and requirements.
  • Good understanding of sales techniques and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM software.
