MindgruveMacarta is seeking a Public Relations Supervisor to contribute to the day-to-day strategy, design, and execution of our clients’ and/or the agency’s public relations campaigns.
What You'll Do Here:
- Develop and execute PR strategies that align with clients' business objectives in the finance, healthcare, and B2B industries.
- Lead PR campaigns from ideation to execution, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Cultivate relationships with key media contacts across top-tier consumer, trade, regional and local media.
- Secure high-impact media coverage through proactive pitching, thought leadership placement, and innovative storytelling.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, delivering exceptional service and fostering strong relationships.
- Provide strategic counsel and regular updates on PR activities and results.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, media pitches, thought leadership articles, and some social media content.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure messaging aligns with broader marketing campaigns.
- Mentor and guide junior PR team members, fostering professional growth and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, strategy, and media, to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Monitor, measure, and report the effectiveness of PR campaigns using relevant metrics and analytics.
- Provide recommendations for optimization based on performance insights.
We Need a Person With: - 5–7 years of public relations experience, preferably within finance, healthcare, or B2B sectors.
- Proven ability to secure media placements in top-tier and industry-specific outlets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience managing client relationships and providing strategic counsel.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
- Familiarity with PR tools such as Cision, Meltwater, or Muck Rack.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- A team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and how they integrate with PR efforts.
- Crisis communications experience is a plus.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
