Position Summary:

As part of the Learning & Development (L&D) team, the Global Learning Consultant collaborates with Pax8 leaders to identify and analyze skill gaps. They align development initiatives with a team’s overall business objectives to ensure that learning is targeted, effective, and supports the organization’s strategic priorities. The Consultant helps to create a continuous learning and development culture that encourages employees to take ownership of their own development and growth by providing them with the tools and resources they need to build skills and grow their careers. They make recommendations for improving employee skills and development, curate learning journeys that build essential capabilities, and plan and document high-level training and performance support architectures.

The Consultant is an expert in L&D offerings and consult with business teams to support them in leveraging existing offerings as well as in identifying emerging needs. They collaborate with Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) as needed to bring their solutions to life.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders around the world to conduct needs assessments to determine where learning gaps may exist within an organization.
  • Analyze those development needs and recommend comprehensive learning strategies and solutions.
  • Create and curate learning interventions and development experiences that promote both individual and organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with LXDs to build the learning assets according to the strategy and solution design, as needed.
  • Work closely with business leaders to align learning interventions with strategic objectives and KPIs.
  • Measure and report on learning solution effectiveness.
  • Report project status and successes to L&D team and key stakeholders.
  • Share learnings with L&D leadership to ensure that the team’s offerings and roadmap appropriately address and anticipate business team needs

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant work experience (HR, talent development, instructional design, skill development) experience is required
  • Experience and demonstrated success in program, process, and project management, including ability to develop complex, multi-faceted programs from end to end with complex tasks, timelines, and resource management
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, tracking, and reporting on learning impact metrics
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships that enable continuous and efficient operations of the Learning & Development function
  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing effectively with issues that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Consulting experience preferred with at least one (1) year of experience identifying performance gaps.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in a related field (e.g., Education/Educational Technology, Instructional Design) or equivalent work experience.
  • Master’s degree is in a related field (e.g., Education/Educational Technology, Instructional Design) preferred.
Compensation:
  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $105,000 to $130,000, or more depending on experience.
