Job description

Who we are:

First impressions matter. Kicksaw is on a mission to transform the Salesforce consulting industry, putting employees and customers first. As a leader in the Salesforce ecosystem, we help companies manage their implementation processes, drive greater efficiencies, and create unmatched client relationships.

About the role:

We’re seeking a Salesforce Consultant with direct experience in a consulting environment and a proven track record of implementing successful projects for clients. The Salesforce Consultant serves as our clients’ main point of contact to identify weaknesses, make strategic recommendations, and see projects delivered on time and on target.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a consulting group looking to rid the world of the utilization model for billing!

What the Salesforce Consultant will do:

  • Exhibit accountability for all elements of your project(s) including scope, schedule, communications, risks, action items, issues, decisions, tasks, and dependencies to deliver exceptional value and client satisfaction
  • Facilitate a smooth transition for new clients from the time of sale through the implementation process
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
  • Create user stories based on functional discovery sessions for our Solution Architects to design solutions
  • Determine the client’s case for action (motivation) for all business requirements to benefit our Solution Architects and Salesforce Administrators during Build activities
  • Conduct ongoing backlog grooming to identify additional value and capabilities for the client using the Salesforce solution
  • Manage project scope and employ strong change-management practices
  • Identify growth opportunities for the client throughout a project
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project
  • Monitor, track, and own outcomes to resolve issues and mitigate risks
  • Identify and develop trusted advisor relationships with project and program stakeholders and sponsors
  • Ensure projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, and quality standards via internal team collaboration and client communication

The right candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of RevOps experience
  • 4+ years of Salesforce experience
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience
  • 2+ years of Consulting and/or Account Management experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) is required

Nice to have:

  • Deep understanding of diagramming with Lucidchart
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with defining Product strategy
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
  • Additional Salesforce certification(s): Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst preferred

The right person for this role should be able to handle any of these questions with ease:

  • How can I build a dashboard in SFDC to understand my sales funnel?
  • What are some best practices when managing duplicates?
  • We’re struggling with approval processes, opportunities, quotes... What should we be thinking about?
  • We’ve been on HubSpot, how do we migrate to SFDC?

Additional details:

This full-time position is 100% remote (must be based in the United States or Canada) and includes competitive pay, comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, & vision), unlimited PTO (with a four-week minimum requested), 18 paid company holidays, 401(k) match / RRSP match, technology stipend, professional development, annual company retreats, eligibility to participate in Kicksaw's profit-sharing and employee liquidity programs, and so much more!

  • For candidates based in the United States, this position includes an annual base salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 USD
