Become part of Hempel’s growing and diverse team! We are seeking a Planning & Purchase Manager excited to drive local supply planning processes for Southern Europe, including preparation and coordination of local supply reviews.

You will have an outstanding opportunity to influence key business decisions, reporting directly to our Factory Manager in Polinyà and Kampen. This role is based in our Polinyà, Spain office, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive decision-making, while working daily with colleagues from around the world.

We are looking for a reliable, open-minded new colleague who can multi-task with integrity to achieve our ambitious goals.

  • Develop and implement production plans to enhance the use of the organization’s resources, and meet established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost and quality standards
  • Assure inventory level and service to customers meet targets, with analytical driving mindset.
  • Ensure good communication and integration with demand/segments, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and finance

What does it take to become our new team member?

  • Degree in engineering, economics/finance, low or other relevant to the role area
  • Relevant experience in the operations/planning, procurement and logistics
  • Proven experience on the similar position, chemical industry and knowledge of local legislation would be appreciated
  • Experience with MS office (PPT, World, Excel)
  • Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish.
