Position Summary: The Corporate Sales Development Representative (CSD) reports to the AVP of Marketing and is responsible for driving business development initiatives within ERPA’s PeopleSoft/Cloud Practice. The CSD will leverage various prospecting approaches across target accounts, with the goal of partnering with the ERPA sales team to build quality opportunities. The key role of a CSD representative is to reach out to potential customers and share the ERPA value messaging while also discovering the needs of the prospect and their organization.

Through a combination of event follow-up, emails, In Mails, phone calls, nurture campaigns, social promotion, and even face-to-face events, our CSD drives valuable pipeline growth by identifying interested and qualified potential buyers and helping foster the relationship between the account and their ERPA sales executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified leads through various channels, including cold calling, leveraging existing relationships, networking through LinkedIn and other social media platforms, utilizing sales data tools (e.g., ZoomInfo), etc.
  • Meet goals for qualified leads
  • Take a consultative approach to identify the current challenges and business needs of prospective customers
  • Gain the confidence of potential customers - Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills and have a solid understanding of PeopleSoft/Cloud
  • Meet on a regular basis with ERPA PeopleSoft/Cloud sales team for account development strategy and review status of current prospect discussions
  • Help bridge the relationship between the account and the Sales team through introductions, as well as assisting with scheduling presentations, demonstrations, etc.
  • Leverage ERPA’s CRM while ensuring the integrity of the existing and all new data entered.
  • Locate expansion (white space) possibilities in key accounts to develop opportunities for campaigns and cross selling
  • Timely document all prospecting activities

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • 2+ years of business development experience is required, including at least 1+ year of sales/business development experience within an IT consulting/technology environment
  • PeopleSoft, Oracle, Microsoft, Amazon/AWS, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar technology experience is strongly preferred
  • Must demonstrate a professional demeanor, strong communication skills with the ability to persuade others and effectively present to key decision makers/executive leadership
  • Need to have a hunter mentality with proven success in cold calling, generating and qualifying new leads 
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM is required
  • This role works remotely; however, will be required to travel to attend internal sales meetings and/or trade shows approximately 2-4 times/year in total
