About the Role: 

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior IT Operations Analyst who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

As the Senior IT Operations Analyst, you will be an integral part of the IT Operations team that provides software and hardware support as well as access controls to our large internal end user base. Being a senior member of our team; you will be accountable for; Jamf management and administration including 3rd party integrations and worldwide deployment, Google Workspace administration/MDM implementation, as well as providing the absolute highest level of IT Support for our end users. 

What You'll Do:

  •  Cultivate working relationships with local Colombian-based sourcing resources to assist in the procurement of IT equipment including but not limited to Apple Macbooks, Windows OS laptops, and various computer peripherals. 
  • Respond to incoming ITSD tickets in Jira in a timely manner, working the issue from inception to completion. 
  • Contribute to working down assigned items in our existing Jira backlog of initiative-based elements as we work to become a more proactive IT Operations team. 
  • Act as a senior member of our IT Operations team, actively looking for opportunities to
  • contribute to the team for the betterment of the organization, but also acting as professional mentor to less experienced members of the team. 
  • Maintain a high-level of technical change awareness in terms of both our large application stack but also be well versed in IT Security. You should possess the ability and confidence to accurately convey this information to both the larger engineering team but in some cases, the organization as a whole. 
  • Obtain and provision hardware and software requests as assigned. 
  • Conduct IT Operations on-boarding training for organization new hires as well as processing IT-focused employee termination responsibilities 
  • Contribute to existing and future IT audit work pertaining to access control history, ITSD ticketing, as well as quarterly software vendor audits. 

What We Look For:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years 
  • Experience and comfort working on an agile team – an ideal candidate should be familiar with agile concepts including Jira ticketing classification, pointing, and meeting workflows. 
  • Systems and skills knowledge should include a high level of aptitude in the following: Google Workspace administration, Jamf management and configuration, Jira ticketing including automation and workflows, 3rd Party MDM solutions, MacOS and hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft Office administration, and 3rd party antivirus administration. 
  • Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be based in the Bogota area. This role will be a hybrid of work from home and in-oce as needed (Remoti).

  • Has a team-oriented mindset of sharing the load of work but also be willing to step-up when resources are minimized. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, showing patience and willingness to mentor. 
  • Possess a high level or organization with the ability document workflows accurately and in a manner that can be replicated. Change management is critical to the success of our IT Operations team for both auditing purposes and process improvement, our ideal candidate would have experience and comfort in bringing these skills to Sezzle.
  • Experience in working with SOC 2, SOX, PCI-DSS and CIS controls; specifically in implementation, administration, and continued adherence to these controls.
