Job description

Reporting to the VP of Global Design, the Advertising Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts and ads that effectively communicate the message of a product or service for clients’ brands.


The Advertising Designer works closely with Account Managers, Sales, and Trading teams from Operations to develop compelling ads that will catch the attention of consumers.They must be able to think creatively and outside of the box to deliver effective ad experiences for a wide range of clients. 

This role is at the heart of Locala’s mission to deliver innovative, high-impact campaigns.

The Advertising Designer works with an omnichannel mindset, meaning that they are able to create ads for any touchpoints of the consumer journey while leveraging the latest technologies to maximize engagement.


Your Role : 

• Design and develop digital creative ad formats with Adobe Suite and Ask Locala Ad Builder proprietary platform following client needs.
• Apply and respect customers’ brand identities to digital ads (from mobile, desktop, DOOH).
• Layout and design ads.
• Master constraints and limits required within mobile environment development and creation.
• Meet with other team members to maintain good communication within the design team.
• Track and analyze ad performance metrics on campaigns to ensure ads deliver results and exceed client expectations.
• Researching consumer behavior, market trends, and new technology that could influence the effectiveness of different advertising methods.
• Brainstorming ideas for new advertising experiences or services that could be marketed to consumers.


Knowledge Required : 

• Basic fundamentals of HTML5 and CSS3 integration are mandatory.
• High level of Photoshop and Illustrator required, with good knowledge of the Adobe Suite.
• Basic fundamentals of animation and After Effects.
• Ideally minimum 1 year of agency experience.
• Professional English mandatory.
• Experience working with global brands and delivering impactful campaigns.
