What we are looking for - Paper Street Media, LLC is hiring for a FULL-TIME Social Media & Community Manager. The Social Media & Community Manager position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, communicative, and savvy about the internet and social media. Working directly with our Sales & Marketing teams and upper management, the Social Media & Community Manager will lead the development and execution of daily community management, development of social media campaigns, creating online buzz and driving specific business goals and metrics.

Social Media Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop social media content calendars for Facebook, IG, IG Stories, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit and emerging brand platforms focusing primarily on our brands.
  • Interpret brand strategies, goals, and campaigns and adapt to social media planning and activations
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers for social media platforms.
  • Find new content and engagement opportunities by staying in tune with the always-evolving industry.
  • Coordinate with the Creative team and content writers to develop content calendars, including image sourcing and copywriting, and participate in organic social media strategy.
  • Keep an eye on all social media platforms, and related blogs, to ensure content is timely and on track.
  • Develop out-of-the-box ideas that build brands on and beyond social platforms.

Community Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead community management, scheduling, and engagement on all platforms, with a strong emphasis on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, and engage with fans/followers on website platforms.
  • Manage comments and collect customer feedback from all channels & platforms
  • Lead interaction between fans and the brand to ensure a positive community and customer experience. Ensure questions, comments and related opportunities are answered with speed and judgment and in alignment with brand values.
  • Ability to analyze social data to support strategic and executional recommendations
  • Moderate and coordinate communication with models for social media publications, merchandising give aways and other activations.
  • Other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Related professional experience, with an emphasis on social media strategy, digital marketing, public relations, and community engagement.
  • 3 - 5 years of social media management experience developing and executing a social media marketing strategy.
  • Familiarity with FB Analytics, Instagram, Google Analytics, and scheduling platforms.
  • Experience with BrandWatch is a plus. 
  • Impressive online writing skills.
  • Maintain a keen editor’s eye with copy and creative.
  • Strong attention to detail with grammar and spelling mistakes.
  • Be available to engage on social media in real-time with an “always on” attitude.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Intermediate skill level in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Diligent work ethic, an eye for art/design, and an insatiable desire to learn and excel (with little supervision).
