Firewall engineer- Palo Alto

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Security Management:
   

   • Configure, maintain, and monitor Palo Alto, Check Point, and Cisco firewalls and network devices.
     
   • Implement advanced security measures to protect network infrastructure from vulnerabilities.
     
   • Regularly update security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
     

2. Troubleshooting and Support:
   

   • Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues promptly.
     
   • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.
     
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime.
     

3. Migration and Implementation:
   

   • Plan, execute, and manage network and system migrations.
     
   • Develop detailed migration strategies, including risk assessments and rollback plans.
     
   • Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing infrastructure.
     

4. Hyper-Care Support:
   

   • Provide intensive monitoring and support post-migration.
     
   • Resolve escalated issues during the hyper-care phase to ensure system stability.
     
   • Document and implement lessons learned to improve future migration processes.
     

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto, Check Point, and Cisco networking technologies.
  
• Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end network migrations.
  
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for incident and change management.
  
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
