Description

A Demand Generation Manager, Global Events plays a crucial role in achieving pipeline objectives through strategic event planning and execution. This includes managing the event budget and resources, developing and executing global event strategies with the goal of driving pipeline, coordinating event logistics, measuring and analyzing performance, and ensuring adherence to brand identity, company goals, and financial constraints.


What does a Demand Generation Manager, Global Events do?

Builds cross-functional alignment with our sales, customer success, and leadership teams to strategically design and execute high-impact events, experiences, and both prospect and customer engagements with a focus on generating qualified leads and sales opportunities ultimately driving pipeline growth. This is executed while keeping key stakeholders updated regularly, monitoring the progress of all event procedures, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive global event strategies: Design, implement, and test event strategies to meet overall marketing objectives and pipeline goals.
  • Manage event budgets and resources: Allocate resources efficiently, ensure events stay within budget, and oversee day-to-day budget management.
  • Select and negotiate event sponsorships: Identify and contract events to enhance based on event impact and maximizing ROI.
  • Coordinate event logistics: Manage all aspects of event planning, including but not limited to, booth design, resource management, speaker coordination, and on-site logistics.
  • Measure and analyze event performance: Track key metrics, evaluate ROI, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, channel, and other departments to ensure proactive communication, aligned event execution, and achievement of broader company goals.


General Duties:

  • Manage event requirements efficiently: Understand departmental needs and proactively communicate event details to participants, supporting team members, and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional demeanor: Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to operational standards: Assist in creating and maintaining efficient processes.
  • Support lead generation and pipeline goals: Drive pipeline generation through effective event planning and enablement.
  • Build vendor relationships: Manage relationships with preferred event vendors to secure best value and execution.
  • Conduct data analysis: Partner with Marketing Operations to analyze event performance, identify trends, and propose revenue-generating initiatives for the global events function.
  • Seek continuous improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance event strategies.
  • Achieve KPIs and complete tasks: Meet set performance targets and fulfill all assigned duties.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in demand generation and event management: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent project management skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven approach: Experience using data analytics to measure and optimize event performance.
  • Global mindset: Ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
  • Ability to travel and coordinate in-person events domestically and internationally, as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems
  • Familiarity with industry events and conferences
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
