Overview: The Senior PIM Developer plays a vital role within our organization, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Product Information Management (PIM) systems. As the landscape of product data evolves, your expertise will ensure that our organization maintains accurate, organized, and readily accessible product information. This position requires a deep understanding of PIM concepts, data governance, and software solutions to streamline product data workflows across various platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and enhance the quality of product data. By improving our PIM system's efficiency and performance, you will contribute significantly to our overall business objectives and customer satisfaction. As a senior developer, you will also mentor junior developers, imparting your knowledge and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.

Design and develop new features for PIM systems according to business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product data requirements.
Create and maintain the architecture of the PIM platform, ensuring scalability.
Implement data governance strategies to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Utilize APIs for system integration with eCommerce platforms and third-party applications.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of the PIM system.
Mentored junior developers in coding best practices and PIM system functionalities.
Develop automation solutions to streamline data processing and workflows.
Document system designs, processes, and user guides for stakeholders.
Regularly assess and recommend enhancements to improve PIM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement Product Information Management (PIM) solutions, ensuring they are scalable and high-performing.
- Manage and optimize the product data model, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand product data requirements and deliver PIM solutions that align with business objectives.
- Configure and customize PIM platforms such as Akeneo, Informatica PIM, Stibo Systems, Syndigo, and Salsify.
- Build and maintain integrations between PIM systems and ERP, CRM, CMS, eCommerce platforms, and other third-party tools.
- Perform data migration, cleansing, and enrichment within the PIM platform.
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Stay updated on PIM technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on PIM platforms and processes.
