JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Social Media Manager (ASMM) reports to the Brand Director of the corresponding brand portfolio. This role collaborates with the brand team to create, manage, and execute social media strategies that effectively communicate and engage with consumers. The ASMM is responsible for content creation, community management, social listening, planning, monitoring, and optimizing social media ad campaigns. This role ensures all social media platforms reflect the brand's look and feel, product releases, events, sponsorships, and more, in line with the overall brand strategy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, manage, and execute social media strategies for the brand portfolio.
  • Effectively communicate and engage with consumers according to outlined social media plans.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Compliance teams to ensure all social media content adheres to industry regulations at local, state, and national levels.
  • Concept, develop, and present annual integrated social media plans.
  • Responsible for creating all social media content for the brand portfolio in line with the strategy.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications to create and distribute documents that inform employees about trending topics related to the brand portfolio.
  • Negotiate influencer contracts, manage campaign delivery and performance, and oversee billing processes. Track and report on budgets, costs, and trends.
  • Create an annual newsletter calendar for the brand portfolio, developing newsletters and sourcing visual content.
  • Assist with copywriting needs for brands or other members of the commercial team (sales, marketing, etc.).
  • Create social media ad campaigns highlighting relevant products in core markets, working with brand teams to refine targeting.
  • Manage community interactions, responding to consumer comments and private messages in the brand voice, and fostering conversations centered around the brand portfolio and its programs.
  • Assist consumers directly or relay their issues to consumer affairs for support when necessary.
  • Manage the Social Media Brand Portfolio Budget (up to $120K annually), ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal allocation of resources, including external agencies and joint efforts with internal stakeholders. Develop insights and key learnings for quarterly reporting.
  • Lead Influencer & Content Creator Strategy for social media and provide executional support from identification, through content creation, posting and reporting.
  • Work in partnership with Procurement and legal on influencer contracts and payments. Lead KPI setting and measurement for influencer executions and make recommendations for optimizations. 
  • Actively commit to supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, or social media.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with tight timelines.
  • Quick and effective decision-maker capable of addressing issues as they arise.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence effectively across diverse groups.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) is a plus.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $84,600 – 127,000/year, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package!
