Position Overview
As the Manager of Customer Lifecycle Marketing, you will own the end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy for our B2B SaaS customers in the restaurant industry. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing programs and campaigns that drive customer adoption, engagement, upsell opportunities, retention, and advocacy. 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Strategy & Planning 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer lifecycle marketing strategy tailored to HungerRush's POS product to engage customers at every stage of the journey (onboarding, adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy). 
  • Partner with the product, customer success, and sales teams to align lifecycle marketing programs with key business goals and customer needs. 
  • Leverage customer data and insights to define segmentation, develop personas, and build personalized marketing campaigns for different customer groups. 

Campaign Management 

  • Design and implement automated, scalable marketing campaigns across email, in-app messaging, and other channels to drive adoption, product usage, and upsell opportunities. 
  • Create engaging content and assets such as onboarding guides, product tips, webinars, success stories, and value-driven nurture programs. 
  • Manage customer newsletters and other communication initiatives to keep customers informed and excited about product updates, new features, and best practices. 

Customer Retention & Growth 

  • Collaborate with customer success in their efforts to monitor customer health scores and proactively address churn risks with targeted retention strategies. 
  • Develop upsell and cross-sell campaigns that drive growth, leveraging product data and insights to identify high-potential accounts. 
  • Own advocacy initiatives, including referral programs, reviews, and case study development. 

Analysis & Optimization 

  • Track and report on key metrics, including churn, NPS, adoption rates, expansion revenue, and campaign performance, to measure success and continuously optimize lifecycle marketing efforts. 
  • Identify trends and insights in customer behavior to refine and improve lifecycle strategies. 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 

  • 3-5+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, or customer marketing roles, preferably within B2B SaaS or tech. 
  • Proven success in designing and executing customer lifecycle programs that drive measurable results. 
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS business models and customer behavior, ideally with knowledge of the restaurant or POS industry. 
  • Experience with marketing and customer success automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Gainsight) and CRM tools like Salesforce. 
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Data-driven mindset with a track record of using analytics and customer insights to inform marketing decisions. 
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling, customer-focused content. 
  • Content creator with experience in email marketing, customer training writing, articles, etc. Great eye for design and what good looks like. Bonus points for design and video editing capabilities. 
  • Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for driving customer success and growth.
