We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Intelligence (BI) Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our BI tools and systems, providing support to users, and contributing to the improvement of our BI processes. You will work closely with other BI and IT staff, and business partners to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance our BI environment.
Provide technical support and guidance to BI users, resolving any issues related to data quality, system access, and report generation.
Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in BI technologies to recommend improvements to existing systems.
With focus on database systems (OLTP, OLAP), data-warehousing solutions (DWH), ETL/ELT processes, Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting
Writing advanced T-SQL stored procedures
Designing new database objects (tables, views, functions)
Optimizing existing code base (SQL Sentry, Execution Plans)
Creating ETL packages (SSIS + ADF) to move data from sources to Data Warehouse
Azure DevOps Server (former TFS - Team Foundation Server) – creating and updating documentation
Reporting and Business Intelligence:
Creating and maintaining SSRS reports
Power Bi
Administration of Microsoft SQL Server databases - optimization , index & storage maintenance replication, user permission management, SQL Agent job management

Developing SSIS packages for ETL processes
