The role...

The MarCom Manager: APAC, will spearhead Cell Signaling Technology (CST) marketing initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, including South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and India. This critical role is vital for driving growth and expanding market presence. The MarCom Manager: APAC will develop and implement targeted marketing programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales. A key responsibility is to formulate regional go-to-market strategies that align with global objectives while adapting to local customer needs, segment dynamics, and market trends.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Communications, the MarCom Manager: APAC will work closely with the Director of APAC Sales and regional teams, including distributors, to ensure marketing efforts effectively support and enhance sales objectives.

  • Campaign Development: Create and implement regional marketing strategies specifically designed for life science researchers, ensuring alignment with global initiatives and responsiveness to local market nuances.
  • Digital Strategy: Support local digital marketing efforts, including working with local 3rd party platforms, social media (example: Kakao & Naver) and PPC campaigns, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Event Management: Organize and support regional conferences and vendor shows to showcase CST’s offerings and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Marketing Materials: Plan, develop, produce, and maintain a diverse range of marketing materials and event deliverables, including collateral, emails, landing pages, and booth designs.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop local sales tools and training materials that convey CST’s value proposition while executing promotions and lead generation programs to drive sales opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison for the APAC sales team and global marketing team members, fostering strong collaborative relationships to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Performance Analysis: Contribute to the development of marketing effectiveness dashboards, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate impact and return on investment (ROI).
  • Market Research: Conduct regular research to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes unique to the APAC life sciences sector.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of quality through meticulous proofreading and approval processes for all marketing materials.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing program budget for the APAC region, prioritizing and allocating resources for maximum effectiveness.
  • Impact Measurement: Forecast and measure the impact of demand generation activities on the sales pipeline, continuously adjusting tactics and strategies as needed.
  • Agency Management: Manage relationships with relevant agency partners to support marketing initiatives.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility to address emerging needs and opportunities in the dynamic APAC market.

Who you are and what you bring to the team...

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s in Marketing or Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of Life Science marketing experience, Experience working with commercial teams and distributors a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for business impact.
  • Influence and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional initiatives and drive business outcomes.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard business hours to facilitate collaboration with a global marketing team and APAC regional team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Ideally, you have...

  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification preferred
  • Experience forecasting, managing budgets, allocating and optimizing spend across tactical channels
  • Computer proficiency, Apple Google Suite preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with Hubspot and Salesforce a benefit but not required

Physical Conditions/Physical Requirements...

  • 100% Remote; Need to be a commutable, local distance to Danvers, MA
  • Up to 25% Travel
  • Need to visit HQ for meetings
