Summary: The Regional Clinical Specialist position will take a lead role in the training of physicians, nurses, and technicians on the proper use and advantages of Cardiva Medical products in Cardiac Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology and Vascular Surgery suites. The Regional Clinical Specialist will assist in product launches in their region as well as support busier teams when needed. In addition, this position will assist in clinical trials not only in their region but around the country when needed. The Regional Clinical Specialist will be expected to aid in the training of new hires and continued development of the region's team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate or lead in-service training of physicians and nursing/lab staff for new product evaluations or trials.
- Pre-evaluation/trial, gather baseline data or insight on a hospital/labs closure performance (TTH, TTA, complication rates, physician/staff satisfaction with existing protocols and VCDs, etc.).
- Pre-procedure, evaluate patient characteristics and advise physicians and nursing/lab staff if the patients profile matches to those characteristics that lead to successful deployment of Cardiva products.
- During the closing procedure, consult physicians and technicians in the lab on the proper use of Cardiva products.
- Post procedure, follow patients to the recovery room and record survey data relating to TTA, complications, patient comfort, staff experience, etc.
- Support the TM in the organization and analysis of evaluation/trial data.
- Identify issues related to the usage of Cardiva product and immediately share those issues with the Regional Sales Director and appropriate TM. If issues stem from incorrect or inappropriate usage of the device, provide additional in-service training to the impacted clinical staff.
- Expertly present Cardiva clinical papers, RESPECT clinical trial data, and Cardiva's overall value proposition while complying with all external regulations and internal policy.
- Support the monitoring of product inventory levels.
- Share insight on competitive products or an accounts issues/opportunities with the appropriate TM or CS.
- Help with the clinical training and on-boarding of new field personnel.
Qualifications:
- Ability to persuasively communicate and tailor the Cardiva value proposition.
- Analytical with financial acumen (understanding of how our products performance and data impact a health system’s bottom line).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in health science and appropriate registration or certifications (RN, RCIS, RCSA, RCMS, RVMS, etc.) preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience, medical industry preferred.
- Strong clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and/or cardiac surgery strongly preferred.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long hours wearing heavy Cath Lab protective clothing.
Work Environment:
- Travel regionally 75-90% in a typical week. National travel as required. Overnight travel may vary significantly depending upon the location and intensity of evaluation/trial activity.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

The base salary range for this role is:
$64,512.00-$106,496.00/Annual
