This is a 14-month contract position

 

Description of Role

As a HR Coordinator, you are responsible for providing daily support and administrative services to the HR Team. Responsibilities include:

 

Recruitment and Selection 

  • Post job advertisements 
  • Screen incoming resumes 
  • Conduct Pre-screening and interviews via telephone or video screening 
  • Conduct reference checking on final candidates.
  • Coordinate applicant testing and background checks with external providers. 
  • Draft and send Employment Agreements  
  • Prepare and conduct new Hire Onboarding and orientations


HR Administration

  • Conduct HR Orientations
  • Prepare paperwork for new hires
  • Benefits Administration for CDN and USA staff. Includes enrollments, changes, and deletions          
  • Ensure files are complete and up to date. 
  • Manage Invoices
  • Assist in all HR administration matters. 


 
Employee Relations

  • Respond to Employee inquires re: benefits, recruitment, and other matters
  • Oversee HR email 


 All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Educational Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or a related subject.
  • CHRP designation is an asset

  • Strong software computer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook
